MEET MRS. SHELDON | Elementary Principal

 

Hello! ...

 

My name is Deandra Sheldon and I am rooted here in West Texas, I have served  in elementary education for the past fifteen years . My journey in education began  as a classroom teacher,and along the way I have  had the opportunity to serve as an Instructional Specialist and most recently my pathway has led to working as  an assistant principal and associate principal for the last four years. My field of study includes a B.A. in English and a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.

 

My goals for your child’s academic and social well being is to provide them with many opportunities for hands on, engaging activities to create critical thinkers for life long

learning. I am excited to join the TLCA family where Its mission fosters an environment of growth and success for all, while developing critical leadership qualities.

 

I live in Midland, with my husband Wes, our two boys,Luke & Jackson and

our fur baby, Link. As a family we Iove to travel and create wonderful memories. 

I look forward to serving our TLCA community! Together we can move mountains.

MEET Ms. Griffith  |  Middle School Principal (6-8th)

 

Andi Griffith has been with Texas Leadership since 2019. She began her educational career by teaching junior high Social Studies. She has also taught high school history as well as being an interventionist. She graduated from Robert E. Lee high school in Midland, Texas. She has also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biblical and Theological studies from Liberty University and a Masters of Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. 

 

Ms. Griffith believes that education is key and includes more than academics; it also includes developing the whole person. She strives to build relationships with both students and staff and believes Texas Leadership has created the perfect opportunity for that.
